Punjab Government Free Pink Scooty Scheme 2026 – New Registration for Girls

There is some good news for all women in Punjab. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has started the Pink Scooty Scheme again for the year 2026. This is the second phase of the project and it is bigger than the first one.

The main goal of this program is to give girls safe, free, and easy transportation options. It is especially helpful for college students, university girls, and working women. Many girls have been waiting for this chance, and now they can apply online from home.

What’s New in Phase 2 – 2026 Update?

In Phase 1, only girls from government colleges were allowed to apply. However, in Phase 2, there are some new changes:

• The number of scooters has increased to 20,000.
• Now, girls from private colleges and universities can also apply.
• The age limit has been raised to 35 years.
• Girls with a learner permit can apply, and a license is not required.
• Free training, free helmet, and free insurance are included.
• There is also an installment plan with 0% interest for those who don’t get a free scooter.

This shows that the government is trying to help as many girls as possible.

Why Did the Government Start the Pink Scooty Project?

In Pakistan, traveling is a big challenge for girls. They often have to take crowded buses, wait for vans, and pay expensive rickshaw fares. Because of this, many girls stop their education after Matric or Inter.

To solve this problem, the Chief Minister of Punjab started this project. The choice of pink color is symbolic, showing the strength and power of girls.

With a scooter, girls can go to school, college, work, or a job without waiting for anyone. It will save their time, money, and also offer them safety.

Who is Eligible? New Rules 2026

The government has kept the rules simple so that every deserving girl can benefit.

• 1. Residence: Only girls from Punjab can apply. If your ID card is from Punjab, you are eligible.
• 2. Age: Your age should be between 18 and 35 years at the time of application.
• 3. Category: You must be in one of these categories:
  • Student studying for Intermediate, BS, or Masters
  • Teacher in any school or college
  • Nurse, doctor, or working in any private company
  • Intern in any office
• 4. License: You should have a learner’s license. If you don’t, the government will provide free training for 5 days in your district.
• 5. Family Income: Girls from families with a monthly income of less than 60,000 will get a free scooter first. Others can get the scooter through easy monthly installments between 3,000 and 5,000 rupees.
• 6. No Previous Bike: If you or your family have already got a bike from any Punjab scheme, you cannot apply again.

• One new 2026 model pink scooter
• Free number plate and registration
• Free pink helmet
• Free driving training certificate
• Free engine service for one year
• Free insurance for one year, so if your scooter is stolen, you will get a new one

List of Required Documents

Before you start the online application, make sure you have these documents ready on your mobile:

• Copy of CNIC (both sides)
• Punjab domicile certificate
• Copy of your father’s or guardian’s CNIC
• One passport-sized photo
• Student card / Job card / Salary slip
• Latest exam result
• Photo of learner permit
• 50 rupees affidavit
• Income proof certificate
• Current electricity or gas bill

Note: All photos should be clear. Blurry documents will be rejected.

Online Registration Process – Step by Step 2026

The application process is very simple now. You don’t need to go to any office.

Step 1:

Go to the official website of Punjab Transport Department – http://bikes.punjab.gov.pk

Step 2:

Click on “Pink Scooty Scheme 2026 Phase 2 – Apply Online.”

Step 3:

Enter your CNIC, mobile number, and email to create an account. You will receive an OTP.

Step 4:

Log in and complete the form. Make sure to enter your full name, father’s name, district, education details, and income information correctly.

Step 5:

Upload all the required documents. Keep the file size under 2MB.

Step 6:

Click on Submit. You will receive a Tracking ID, like PS-12345. Make sure to save it.

Your form will be sent to your district DC office. They will check all the details. If everything is correct, you will get an SMS informing you that you are selected for balloting.

How Will Balloting Be Done?

Since there are more than 2 lakh forms, the government will use computerized balloting. No references or recommendations will be considered. Only lucky girls chosen by the system will get a scooty.

The list of selected girls will be uploaded on the website and also posted on the Punjab Government Facebook page. Once selected, you will be called for training in your city (like Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, etc.)

After the training, a big ceremony will be held in Lahore, where Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will distribute the scooties.
